Who this is for
Which rules apply to you?
Most organisations face more than one of these, and they overlap. In short:
| Framework | Who it applies to | The detail |
|---|---|---|
| SECR | Quoted companies of any size, plus large UK companies and LLPs meeting two of three tests. | £36m+ turnover · £18m+ balance sheet · 250+ employees. Very low energy users (40,000 kWh or less) can claim an exemption. |
| ESOS | Large UK undertakings. | An energy audit every four years. |
| PPN 006 | Suppliers bidding for UK central government contracts above £5m a year. | A compliant Carbon Reduction Plan is required with the bid. |
| Greener NHS | NHS suppliers. | The Evergreen assessment and, increasingly, a full Scope 3 inventory. |
| TCFD & CDP | Organisations asked for climate disclosure by investors and large customers. | Climate-related financial disclosure, and the ratings that sit alongside it. |
| UK SRS | Anyone likely to fall in scope once the standards are adopted. | The UK Sustainability Reporting Standards. Worth preparing for now. |
Not sure where you land?
Thirty minutes with a specialist is usually enough to confirm which of these apply to your entity, and in what order they fall due.
What’s covered
What we cover, end to end
One team measures your footprint once and produces each disclosure in the format its framework requires, with no duplicated data collection, no numbers that disagree with each other.
SECR
The energy and carbon disclosure for your directors’ report.
ESOS
The four-yearly energy audit and lead-assessor sign-off.
PPN 006
A Carbon Reduction Plan built to the current template for public tenders.
Greener NHS
Evergreen-ready reporting for NHS suppliers.
TCFD & CDP
Climate disclosure and ratings support.
UK SRS
A readiness gap assessment so you’re not caught out.
Every figure ships with its source, factor set and assumption log in one evidence pack, and the same platform carries your data forward into next year’s comparative.
Common pitfalls
Where compliance reporting goes wrong
Each framework reported in its own silo
The same data collected three times, with three slightly different answers.
The wrong conversion-factor year
Use the factor set for the year the data covers, or the numbers don’t reconcile.
Scope 3 omitted where it’s required
PPN 006 and Greener NHS in particular now expect the material categories.
No comparative or board sign-off
A missing prior-year comparative or board-level sign-off gets the disclosure bounced.
Data collection starts too late
It’s almost always the long pole, not the calculation.
The process
How it runs
Step 01
Scope and quote
We confirm which frameworks apply, the reporting entity and boundary, and the deadlines you’re working back from, then issue a fixed fee.
Step 02
One data request
One data request list and one point of contact covers every framework, so you provide the inputs once.
Step 03
Calculate and draft
Emissions are calculated in our software, with the factor set and every assumption logged, and each disclosure drafted in its required format.
Step 04
Sign-off and filing pack
You get disclosure-ready wording plus an evidence pack for your auditor, and we support you through to filing.
