More than 250 employees
Over £36 million annual turnover
Balance sheet total of £18 million or more

What needs to be included in your Streamlined Energy and Carbon Report?

To adhere to the SECR policy, companies must report:

Direct Scope 1 carbon emissions and energy consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh)
Scope 2 carbon emissions and energy consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh)
Scope 3 emissions related to business travel using personal vehicles (grey fleet) and energy consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh)
Completed and planned energy efficiency measures taken by the company

Benefits of complying with SECR

Complying with SECR not only helps avoid government penalties but also offers several advantages:

Supports efforts to combat the climate crisis
Encourages the uptake of energy efficient measures, which reduces operational costs
Enhances transparency for investors and stakeholders
