Aston Barclay collaborated with Net Zero Group to achieve their carbon reporting objectives. Leveraging a combination of advanced software and expert consultancy, Net Zero Group delivered an SECR-compliant report for FY 23-24 and developed a carbon reduction plan covering scopes 1, 2, and key scope 3 categories. Our targeted strategy focused on accurate data collection for transport emissions—a critical area for Aston Barclay—our consultants provided actionable strategies to help the business reduce both its carbon footprint and operational costs.

Our offsetting brand allowed Aston Barclay to offset their scope 1 and 2 emissions via VERRA verified projects. 

Achievements

• Reduced scope 1 property emissions by 41.6% compared to FY 22/23
• Reduced fleet emissions by 37.6% compared to FY 22/23
• Reduced scope 1 and 2 emissions per vehicle sold by 58%
• Achieved a Bronze Ecovadis sustainability rating 
• Installed solar PV on-site at Wakefield reducing scope 2 emissions.
• Won Best Remarketing Supplier at the Business Car Awards 2024 due to sustainability efforts. 
• Completed EV charger installations at 2 sites
